Montbeliard, France through the early exclusive Lamborghini dealership
in Paris Voitures Monceau.
We do have the original Sales Contract between Lamborghini Voitures-Paris Monceau and Jean Serre dated
on the 17th of July 1967. Very rare as well is the original "Certificato di assistenza in garanzia" which
accompanies the car's archive file. The original Sales Contract and guarantee card are both looked after
items which are normally never existing anymore.
The 400 GT 2+2 was ordered by its first owner in the colour combination Grigio Saint Vincent with contrasting
Tobacco leather, which was the same livery as pictured on the sales brochure out of the same year.Mon.
Serre registered the Lambo on the 18th of August in 1967 with the license plate 325 LZ 25 which is
documented by a copy of its first registration.
Mon. Serre kept his beloved Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 until his passing away in 2001. In the same year the
Lambo was inherited to his Nephew Mon. Christian Rossel living in the same village Montbeliard. He
registered the car again by keeping the same licence plate as 325 LZ 25. In this time the odometer has
shown an original mileage of 83 360 km.
The nephew of the first owner decided to sell the 400 GT 2+2 in 2007 when it came into the ownership of its
last owner in Germany, who kept the car until today. In 2007 the odometer has shown an original mileage of
98 827 km.
After having bought the car it was stripped to bare metal and painted new in the same colour Grigio Saint
Vincent as being delivered.
Two years later the 400 GT 2+2 received a complete overhaul of the technique by one of the best
Lamborghini workshops of Germany. The engine, gearbox and suspension were rebuilt at Wolfgang
Instinsky, who is famous for his Lamborghini restorations over the last few decades. The invoices are part of
the archive file exceeding appr. at 100.000,- Euros.
Today the overall mileage is at 113 339 km approximately driven 10.000 km after its technical revision.
Today the Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 looks like a new car with an unbelievable preserved and original interior.
The original pigskin Tobacco leather is amazing, the dashboard is virtually like new. This must be one of the
most original interiors in fantastic condition which could be found at a
Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2.
The documented long term ownership in one family until 2007 and the last and second owner until 2023, its
technical revised condition and the amazing original interior are good reasons to deeply think about this car.
I suppose that Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 in this condition and history are normally never coming into the
market.
