Comments:

The Ferrari 330 GTC has been originally delivered in the US in April 1968

through the US West Coast Distributor MCM Modern Classic Motors (owned

by Bill Harrah) in Reno, NV/USA. It was ordered by its first Arizona based owner

John Doe in one of the most beautiful color combination of Grigo Argento with

contrasting red interior.

The complete chain of ownership is confirmed by a Marcel Massini report which

is accompanying the cars file. The car was bought in the US by a Spanish

collector in 1991 who had it registered in England until 2012 when it was bought

by another Spanish Ferrari afficionado. While in Spain the car received a bigger

renovation with a new bare metal paint job into its original color of Grigio

Argento.

In October 2014 the 330 GTC received the Certificato di Autenticita by Ferrari

Spa Modena confirming delivery, colour combination as Grigio Argento 1.443.030

A. It. and Pelle rossa VM 3171and most important the originality of the

matching number engine and gearbox which are still in our 330 GTC

after nearly 50 years.

In summer 2017 we decided to go through the car again. By this we have

dismanteled the car, taking out the engine and rebuilding everything which

seemed to be neccessary. We have received a tremendous result with a

perfect frame, new suspension and a perfectly detailed engine compartment.

The work carried out is documented by a large photo documentation and will be

accompanied by an amount of bills and service records. We suppose that this

must be the best 330 GTC in the market today.

We could reassure the next enthusiast owner of this beautiful 330 GTC that it

runs, drives and looks perfectly, for sure one of the best driving 330 GTC we had

in recent years. The engine has lots of torque and accelerates tremendously,

the gearbox does not have any synchro problems and the drive train is not

showing any vibration, the suspension is stiff thanks to the latest renovation

and the brakes are working properly.

It is overall according to its full history, confirmed originality, recent renovation

and road performance one of the nicest and best driving 330 GTC's.

The Ferrari 330 GTC is one of the best driving classic Ferrari out of the sixties. It

benfitted of the most important new developments done by Ferrari. It received

the new 4000 ccm and 300 bhp engine,  the 5- Speed gearbox which was

mounted as a trans axle system, independent front and rear suspension and all

around disc brakes. The engine was connected to the gearbox with a torque

tube which helped to avoid any vibration from the drive train.

Having all this in mind it is not surprising why most of the Ferrari collectors are

keen to have one of these beautiful thoroughbreds in their garages.
