The 190 SL on offer has been delivered through Auto Becker in Graphit Grey |
| (Lackierung Kunstharz 190 H) with a grey interior to its first owner Direktor | |
| Sebastian Peisl/ Düsseldorf Oberkassel in 1957. The German | |
| "Kraftfahrzeugbrief" has been issued on the 13th of August 1957. Direktor Peisl | |
| kept the car only for 2 years selling it to another citizen of Düsseldorf with | |
| Walter Wühagen. Only a year later the 190 SL found its third owner with Horst | |
| Knopf who sold it in 1963 again through Auto Becker to a Dr. Günhild Eberhard | |
| living in the South in Schwäbisch Gemünd. The archive file shows the sales | |
| contract between Dr. Günhild Eberhard and Auito Becker dated on the 28th of | |
| September 1963. |
| The old German "Kraftfahrzeugbrief" is documenting the history and is part of | |
| archive file. |
| Interestingly the Eberhard family kept the car for 44 years until 2007. |
| Since then it changed hands only two times having a mileage of 109 500 km | |
| which seems to be the original mileage. |
| Beside the known history of only 6 owners in 62 years it shows an amazing | |
| originality. This 190 SL seems to be one of the very few survivors in its original | |
| livery. It has kept 80 % of its original "Kunstharz" paint. The interior shows the | |
| typical wear of 62 years but is still in very nice condition throughout. It might be | |
| impossible to locate a 190 SL which still has its original grey carpets. |
| It runs and drives very nice. |
