We are pleased to offer one of the most perfectly restored Ferrari 275 GTB/2 |
| shortnose. This car has gone through a painstaking every nut and bolt | |
| restoration in one of the best Ferrari independent workshops in Switzerland. | |
| The restoration has been carried out over a period of three years and ended in | |
| June 2009. The enormous effort to create one of the nicest 275 GTB/2 | |
| in the world is shown by the same enormous amount of bills which accompanies | |
| the restoration. The restoration has gone through every detail of the car starting | |
| with perfect body and metalwork showing perfect gaps and a show winning paint | |
| which will win each Concour of the planet. The interior has been carried out in the | |
| same way without any compromises by using the original material. On the | |
| technical side of things it has been decided to take the long way going through | |
| every detail including a new wiring harness, rebuilt engine, transaxle and | |
| gearbox, rebuilt suspension and brakes. Each single chrome item has been | |
| perfectly rechromed. The car is equipped with the desirable early correct type of | |
| mag wheels as well as the very rare early correct type of Nardi steering wheel. | |
| We have to admit that we have had lots of 275 GTB's in our business life of | |
| each variety like two cams, four cams, alloys or customer clienti cars. But this | |
| Ferrari 275 GTB/2 seems to be the number one we ever have had. | |
| It might not be neccessary to say that the car still has its original matching | |
| number engine, matching gearbox which has been certified by the factory in | |
| 2009 which is documented in the "Certificazione di Autenticità" issued in the | |
| same year by Ferrari. | |
| Trying to create a perfect car means as well to be prepared to invest a large | |
| amount of money. We have to tell that the bills which will come with the car have | |
| exceeded more than 500.000,- CHF. After the restoration the car has had a | |
| runin of 3200 km until today. We just have test driven the car and would testify | |
| that it is in perfect working order and it looks like a perfect new car. | |
| This 275 GTB/2 shortnose could be the missing link in each fantastic Ferrari | |
| collection on the planet. It will be a joy to drive it and gift to own it. |
