The Lusso we had the chance to acquire has been delivered originally to |
| Switzerland. In the seventies it has been sold to the US where it spent its life at | |
| the East coast in Maryland being in the possesion of one of the early Ferrari | |
| historian, book author and Ferrari enthusiast Richard F. Merritt. Later it went to | |
| the West coast where it has been sold to Germany in the mid nineties. Bought | |
| by a German Ferrari collector it has been restored and serviced at one of | |
| Germany's well known and most appreciated Ferrari restoration shops. It | |
| changed hands last time in Germany in 2005 and was part of a very small but | |
| sophisticated Ferrari collection. After 6 years of possesion the owner changed his | |
| mind and sold this perfect Lusso to our company. After having checked the | |
| technical side of things in our workshop and carrying out a new service we had | |
| the pleasure to start the engine and drive it 200 km through the mountains | |
| nearby. We can confirm that this Lusso definitely runs and drives as it should | |
| having lots of torque and the beutiful noise of the 250 engine. | |
| We strongly recommend to any Lusso enthusiast to have a serious look to this | |
| wonderful all matching numbers Lusso which will not be easy to find again. We | |
| will be happy to send all the detailed new photos we took on our last trip | |
| including all the detailed photos from the engine compartment, interior or | |
| matching numbers of engine, gearbox or differential. |
