The 250 GT Boano has been delivered to Jacques Swaters/Francorchamps in |
| 1957. It is one of only few Boano which did have a race history and is | |
| therefore eligible for the Ferrari Shell Historic Challenge and for sure also | |
| for the major events like Mille Miglia or Tour Auto. It does have the same | |
| technical compounds as the far more expensive Tour de France with its | |
| so called 508 chassis and its 128 B engine. It is nothing else than a Tour | |
| de France chassis with a different body. The factory has only produced appr. | |
| 65 steel bodied and 16 alloy bodied cars from which only few have survived. | |
| Out of our research we can tell that there are only 35 to 40 steel bodied cars | |
| and not more than 10 - 12 alloy bodied cars left. In the past the Boano has | |
| been the victim of being a donor car for building up TDF, Testrossa or California | |
| Spider replicas. Hopefully people have made up their mind now that we will keep | |
| the few pretty Boanos alive. | |
| The Boano GT offered has received a major restoration in the US at Patrick Otis. | |
| It is in lovely condition throughout and it looks, runs and drives like new. |
