The 250 GT Boano has been delivered in Italy in 1956. It is the first Ferrari ever |
made at the works of Mario Boano and therefore a very special Boano we are
pleased to offer. Most of its history is known. It has been in Austria up from
1964 which is shown in the original austrian title called "Einzelgenehmigung".
Since then there are only 4 owners mentioned in Austria. The last austrian owner
commisioned a nut and bolt restoration in the late nineties at the famous and
well known shop of Egidio Brandoli near to Modena. The interior has also been
carried out at the company Fratelli Lupi which is the original supplier in the old
days. The technical side of things has been done at Modena Motors. Hardly
driven after the perfect restoration this Boano is still in as new condition
throughout. It is a marvellous early piece of the Ferrari history which has the
same frame Tipo 508, engine Tipo 128 B and suspension like the Tour de
France which has been produced in the same time. The car is elegible for most
of the events like the Mille Miglia with its very early serial number and its
known history being the first Boano ever made. It is a great chance to aqcuire
an important Ferrari. |
