Our new Ferrari 246 GT Dino has been delivered to its first German owner Wilma |
Kresse/Bremen in 1972 through the main Ferrari importer Auto Beccker carrying
the beautiful and rare colour Marrone Dino Metalizzato with beige interior. It was
registered on the 14th of July with the license plate HB-LM 106. |
It changed hands again to the second owner in 1976 where it found a new home
with Dieter Grosche living in Düsseldorf. Registered on the 18th of August 1976
carrying license plate D-JD 200. |
Only a year later it was bought by its third owner Rosemarie Hund living nearby
Frankfurt registering the Dino 246 GT in May 1977 carrying license
plate OF-AH 450. |
In 1980 it was sold to its fourth owner Ralf Renardy living in Aachen who kept it
for another three years. Registered on the 12th of February 1980 having license
plate AC-A 557. |
Mr. Renardy sold it to its fifth and last owner in 1983 who kept it for the
next 38 years until we bought it in June 2021. It received a new license
plate number AC-EE 13 and had been registered on the 18th of March 1983. |
The complete German history is documented by its first and only German title
(Pappdeckelbrief) where the whole history is listed. The original German log
book is still valid today which is extremely rare. |
In September 2020 we received the Lettera Dati Conferma by Ferrari confirming
its original colourr combination as Marrone Dino Met, 106-M-73 Salchi and
describing it as full matching numbers of engine and gearbox. |
The interior still has its optional and rare leather upholstery and headliner.
The mousehair dashboard, centre console, carpets and door panels have been
renewed to the highest standard. |
It benfitted from a large technical engine out restoration being carried out in
spring, summer and autumn 2021 in our own workshop. I suppose that it will be
difficult to find a better restored Dino 246 GT in the market. The whole work is
documented by hundreds of detailed photos and dozens of invoices as well. |
Today it is painted in Rosso Dino. It would be a sensitive effort to repaint it |
into its gorgeous and elegant original Marrone Dino meallizzato colour. |
